Why did you choose a STEM profession?
Was your interest in STEM encouraged?
I really enjoyed Maths and Computer Science when I was in High School. My family has always supported me in what I wanted to study and my best friend went to college with me.

How was your university experience? Do you have any memorable experiences to share?
Those years were probably the best of my life. I met a lot of amazing people and had some teachers that helped me a lot. I started my teaching career helping my classmates understand different subjects.
Where do you work?
What would you do during a typical day at work? What do you enjoy most about your job?
I work as an app development teacher for vocational training students at Cesur. I love being a teacher, because it is the best way to never stop learning.
What are your plans and aspirations for the future?
I want to be as good as the good teachers I had in the past, that showed me how to love this career.
What do you like to do outside of work? What are your passions and hobbies?
I use my free time to keep learning new frameworks and coding languages, preparing lectures and playing volleyball! I try to travel as much as I can too!
What advice would you give to other young girls and women who plan to pursue a STEM career?
Always try to do what makes you happier. Don’t let other people’s opinions define you and always be the best version of yourself.
